The ability to work with criminals and gain their engagement can be hard. Dale achieved this at my place of work. Fantastic- highly recommended – Senior Prison Officer

I have been involved in animal sessions with Dale many times, in two different school settings. Both schools are schools that work with students with ‘Special Educational Needs’, predominantly Autism. Over the sessions I have witnessed the student light up at the prospect of handling the reptiles and other animals. Students engage with the animals, and have even developed communication skills that were unknown before the integration of the animals. Bringing snakes, reptiles and even skunks into a school of Special Needs students could be a barrier that prevents staff organising this opportunity. Having witnessed the huge positive impact that this experience has on the students, I would say, please overlook the stereotypes of the animals, this experience could be one of the most positive, engaging, and worthwhile that some your student may ever get. I have had fantastic feedback from Staff and students who loved the day. Critterish Allsorts was a hit with everyone and I was so pleased that the theatre sessions worked so well with two large groups.. You just gave us exactly what we wanted, tailored to our students needs and sensitive to those who found it a little scary.

Our first “Inter-Media” Educational Visit, via Google Hangouts : “Thank you is such a small word but I truly do mean it. You were incredible with the kids today. They are so excited and as they were going back to their classes, they were talking about you and your critters. I am so excited that it went well and I know that the connection with the therapy animals will stay with the kids for a long time”

“Thank you so much for spending a lot of time with my little minion today. She adores animals and finding you guys there today was a really fab surprise 🙂 She has to put up with so much as a sibling to a child with complex needs and watching her smiling today and then talking for hours about all the animals has meant so much. Thank you guys, can’t wait to see you at her party xxx ”

Just wanted to say a Massive, Massive “THANKYOU” Dale for coming to Jack & Rosie’s party today with the critters. Jack, Rosie & all their friends loved it along with the parents. We had so much positive feedback & everyone commented on how much the animals obviously mean to you. Thanks again……x
P.s…… Stoosh is still my favourite!!

Dawn Welch – Phobia of Snakes

I would like to say a huge thank you to Dale Preece-Kelly for helping me overcome my lifelong phobia of snakes.
Before meeting Dale and Pixie I could not even look at a photograph without going into a panic attack but Dale’s calm, understanding manner and his obvious passion for his animals made me trust him instantly. Within 20 mins, and a barrage of questions from me, I was totally at ease and able to stroke Pixie and hold Tango.
I now see snakes like any other animal and this has given me the confidence to step outside my comfort zone in other aspects of my life. Dale’s caring manner and knowledge of animals is remarkable. Critterish Allsorts is a fantastic organisation and I would totally recommend them to anyone.

Dale. Just a quick note to say thank you for all of your patience with my son Ewan (Superman), today at Trentham. You and your wife are clearly brilliant with kids, I just hope that Ewan continues to meet such inspirational people who will encourage his love of the natural world as you guys did today. Good luck with everything you do and I’m sure you will be inundated by questions from Ewan again in the future.
